Prankster Tricks London Gatwick Airport Passengers into Thinking They Were Landing at London Luton Airport!

Passengers landing at Gatwick airport were in a state of panic after an attention seeking youtube prankster / click baiter made large letters saying "welcome to Luton" on the grass under the flight path near Gatwick airport! Air passengers flying into Gatwick were left thinking that they have been diverted to London Luton Airport". It was even reported in the Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph, etc. This kinda gotcha gag drives the internet crazy. This viral news story has attracted all the best and worst types of attention. When the youtube prankster was flying into London a few months ago, he remembered that there was a guy in America who had written "welcome to Cleveland" on his house roof in Milwaukee, and it's been there for the last 34 years! On the Saturday, the event will take place within the ExCeL area in East London, with road closures from 05:00 between Gallions Reach Roundabout and Leamouth Roundabout, including Lower Lea Crossing, Royal Albert Way eastbound and roads around the ExCeL. Lane closures will be in place on The Highway in both directions to allow barriers to be laid in advance of the second day of the event.
