Here is your Transport information for this weekend

London Underground

Bakerloo line
This weekend there will be no service on the entire line, whilst we carry out essential work.

Due to the highly complex nature of this work, on Monday morning a very limited service will run between:
• Harrow & Wealdstone and Queen’s Park
• Elephant & Castle and Piccadilly Circus

Services between Queen’s Park and Piccadilly Circus will begin after 08:00 on Monday morning. We will try to start services before then if we can.

Jubilee line
There will be no Friday and Saturday Night Tube service between Waterloo and Wembley Park from approximately 00:45 to 04:40 Saturday and approximately 03:00 to 06:00 Sunday. This is to allow for the movement of engineering trains.

London Overground
All weekend there will be no service between Euston and Willesden Junction due to London Underground track and drainage work.

From 18:30 on Saturday 18 November until Sunday 14 January 2018, trains will not run between Gospel Oak and Barking. This is while Network Rail continue major work to enable new, longer trains to run from spring 2018.

On Sunday there will be no service between the following stations:
• Camden Road and Stratford due to bridge replacement work at Highbury Corner
• Highbury & Islington and Dalston Junction due to bridge replacement work at Highbury Corner

From Monday 20 until Thursday 23 November, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Chingford from 22:30. This is due to Network Rail track work.

TfL Rail
All weekend, trains will not run between Liverpool Street and Romford. This is while Network Rail carry out track and station improvements as part of their Railway Upgrade Plan, as well as Crossrail construction work.

DLR
There will be no service between Stratford and Bow Church due to Crossrail work at Pudding Mill Lane.

Until late December 2017, Custom House station will be closed and trains will not stop. This is due to Crossrail construction work.

Buses
Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:

Central London – From 16:00 until 21:00 today, Thursday, Regent Street, between Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus, and all its approaches will be closed. From 11:00 until 21:00, there will be a lane closure in each direction between Vigo Street and Beak Street. Traffic will be permitted to use the bus lane during this period.

Central London – From 17:00 on Friday until 22:00 on 01 January 2018, roads within Hyde Park including South Carriage Drive and North Carriage Drive will be closed. This is due to an event.

South West London – From 11:30 until 00:00 on Saturday, roads around Twickenham Stadium will be busier than usual including A316 Chertsey Road. There will also be closures and diversions on London Road, Whitton Road and Rugby Road. This is due to an event.

Central London – From 03:00 until 22:00 on Sunday, there will be various road closures on Regent Street between Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus and New Burlington Street. This is for an event.

Central London – From 07:30 until 22:00 on Sunday, there will be road closures in Whitehall between Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square, and the St James’s Park Area. This is for an event.

Roads
Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:

The Lord Mayor’s Show and Remembrance Sunday

From 07:00 until 19:00 on Saturday, there will be extensive road closures in the City and central London for the Lord Mayor’s Show. Blackfriars and Waterloo bridges will be closed at various times. A number of Tube stations will be busier than usual, and busses in the City and Westminster will be diverted or stop short of their normal destination.

On Sunday, some roads in Westminster will be closed to traffic from just after midnight until 17:30 for Remembrance Sunday. From midnight on Saturday until 18:00 on Sunday, buses will be diverted and will not serve the Whitehall and Trafalgar Square areas. Various parades are taking place across London. Embankment, St. James’s Park, Green Park and Victoria Tube stations are likely to be busier than usual. If you can, please consider re-timing your travel or seeking alternative routes where possible and allow more time for your journey.

Eastbound Circle line trains will not stop at Sloane Square station, while we carry out station improvement works.

District line
Eastbound District line trains will not stop at Sloane Square station, while we carry out station improvement works.

Metropolitan line
On Sunday there will be no service between Aldgate and Wembley Park before 09:30 and after 20:30. This is to allow us to replace track and signalling between Baker Street and Finchley Road.

London Overground
Tonight, Wednesday and Thursday, there will be no service between Sydenham and West Croydon after 22:30, due to Network Rail track work.

All day Saturday and until 15:30 on Sunday, trains will not run between Gospel Oak and Barking. This is while Network Rail continue major work to enable new, longer trains to run from spring 2018.

On Sunday there will be no service between the following stations:

Central London – From 22:00 on Saturday until 06:00 on Monday, eastbound lane closures will be in place at Marylebone Road (eastbound) at the junction of York Gate. This is for Thames Water work.

Events in central and east London

Until Sunday, the IAAF World Championships are taking place in Stratford and central London. Services to and from Stratford and key interchange stations will be busier than usual before and after the events.

Roads in the St James’s Park area in central London will be closed from 06:00 on Saturday until 05:00 on Monday, due to an event taking place on Sunday.

From tomorrow, Friday, until Sunday 13 August, the IAAF World Championships will be taking place in Stratford and central London. Services to and from Stratford and key interchange stations will be busier than usual before and after the events. On Sundays 6 and 13 August, events will be taking place on closed roads in central London.

There will be delays to road journeys and road and bridge closures will be in place.

Special note:
Waterloo station improvement work. From this Saturday 5 to Monday 28 August, some Tube, rail and bus services in southwest London will be much busier than usual due to Network Rail’s improvement works at Waterloo station.

London Underground

Central line

Night Tube services will not stop at Bank on Saturday night/Sunday morning. This is while we carry out electrical works at the station.

Piccadilly line

Trains will not run between Acton Town and Uxbridge while we replace track at Alperton.

London Overground

Tonight, Thursday, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town/Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) after 22:30, due to Network Rail track work.

All weekend there will be no trains between the following stations:
• Gospel Oak and Barking. This is while Network Rail carry out major works to enable new, longer trains to run from 2018
• Willesden Junction and Shepherd’s Bush due to Network Rail infrastructure work

On Sunday there will be no service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction while Network Rail carry out track work.

From Monday to Thursday next week, there will be no service between Sydenham and West Croydon after 22:30, due to Network Rail track work.

Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 24-25 June, and also the following week. There are no closures affecting Tube lines. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you.

London Overground
Tonight, Thursday, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town/Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) after 22:45, due to Network Rail track work.

On Sunday:
• Trains will not run between Gospel Oak and Barking. This is while Network Rail carry out major works to enable new, longer trains to run from 2018
• Until 09:30 there will be no service between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon for Network Rail track work
• Trains to/from Chingford will not stop at Bethnal Green due to Network Rail track work
