At 9:00 a.m., our small-group tour takes you away from the big city of London and into the medieval town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace. Take your journey on a luxury air conditioned mini-bus, USB and Wi-Fi ready. Next travel through the 12th to the 21st century as your walk through this market town. You’ll be able to wander quaint side streets, independent shops and the open parklands along the River Avon. If Shakespeare is your thing, you can visit his childhood home (additional cost) which offers a tantalizing glimpse into his early life.
You will continue your day in the tranquil village of Bourton on the water, aptly named the “Venice of the Cotswolds”. Here you can enjoy a riverside stroll and cross the bridges that cross the River Windrush. There are lovely café’s here where you can enjoy lunch (own expense), or you are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the riverbank.
Your final stop is the otherworldly shopping haven, Bicester Village. Imagine over 130 high-end boutiques at discounted prices clustered throughout an open-air village with coffee shops and cafes to keep you refreshed.
Tour returns to London at approximately 8:00pm
