Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 29 and 30 September, and the following week. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal so you’ll be able to get wherever you need to go, but please check if any of the following affect you. Piccadilly line strike There is currently no service on the Piccadilly line until 15:30 tomorrow, Friday 28 September, and then again from 22:00 until the morning of Saturday 29 September. There will also be no Piccadilly line Night Tube on Friday 28 September. OVO Energy Tour of Britain From 03:00 until 23:00 on Sunday 9 September, Regent Street St James’s (Lower Regent Street) will be closed in both directions for the Tour of Britain. London Underground Bakerloo line On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August, there will be no service between Elephant & Castle and Harrow & Wealdstone. This is due to track maintenance. Central line Trains will not stop at Bank station from 00:30 on Saturday 18 and all day Sunday 19 August. Use Liverpool Street or St. Paul’s instead. This is due to platform engineering work. London Triathlon The London Triathlon will take place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August. On the Saturday, the event will take place within the ExCeL area in East London, with road closures from 05:00 between Gallions Reach Roundabout and Leamouth Roundabout, including Lower Lea Crossing, Royal Albert Way eastbound and roads around the ExCeL. Lane closures will be in place on The Highway in both directions to allow barriers to be laid in advance of the second day of the event.
