Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 31 March – 1 April, and also the following week.

Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you.

London Underground
There will be no service

Circle line
On Saturday 31 March and Sunday 1 April between Edgware Road and Hammersmith, while we test new signalling

District line
From Saturday 31 March until Sunday 1 April between Edgware Road and High Street Kensington, while we test new signalling

Hammersmith & City line
From Friday 30 March until Sunday 1 April between Edgware Road and Hammersmith, while we test new signalling

Northern line
From Friday 30 March until Monday 2 April between Charing Cross/Moorgate to Golders Green/East Finchley, while we carry out points works at Camden

Also, on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 April, all southbound trains from Edgware will be via Charing Cross and all trains from High Barnet and Mill Hill East will be via Bank.

London Overground
There will be no service:

• Romford and Upminster, due to Network Rail infrastructure work and Crossrail construction work

From Saturday 31 March to Sunday 1 April between:
• New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon, due to Network Rail track and infrastructure work

From Saturday 31 March to Monday 2 April between:
• Liverpool Street and Enfield Town/Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters)/Walthamstow Central, due to Network Rail track and infrastructure work

On Sunday 1 April between
• Liverpool Street and Chingford until 10:15, due to Network Rail track and infrastructure work

TfL Rail
This weekend, from Friday 30 March until Monday 2 April, there is no service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, due to overhead line renewals and track renewal.

London Trams
Due to track renewal work, there is no service

• From Saturday 31 March until Wednesday 4 April, between Sandilands and Reeves Corner
• From Thursday 5 April until Sunday 8 April, between Sandilands and East Croydon

Buses
Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:

North London – From 22:00 today Thursday 29 March, until 05:00 on Tuesday 03 April, Camden High Street (northbound) between Inverness Street and Britannia Junction (Camden Town) will be closed. This is for London Underground works.

Westminster – From 11:30 until 14:00 on Friday 30 March, there will be short traffic holds on roads between Victoria Street and Westminster Abbey. This is for a procession.

Central London – Between 08:00 on Friday 30 March until 22:00 on Monday 2 April 2018, Farringdon Street will be closed in both directions between Ludgate Circus and Charterhouse Street. Clerkenwell Road, including Clerkenwell Bridge, will also be closed to eastbound traffic between Grays Inn Road and Farringdon Lane. Bus routes 17, 45, 55, 63, 172, 243, N55 and N63 will be diverted. This is while we work to extend the North-South Cycle Superhighway from Stonecutter Street to King’s Cross.

Westminster – From 13:00 until 17:00 on Saturday 31 March, there will be traffic holds and road closures on the following roads: Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Haymarket, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and Parliament Square. This is due to a march.

Central London – From 09:30 until 13:00 on Sunday 1 April, there will be short traffic holds on the following roads: Sardinia Street, Kingsway southbound and Aldwych. This is for a procession.

Roads
Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:

North London – From 22:00 today Thursday 29 March, until 05:00 on Tuesday 03 April, Camden High Street (northbound) between Inverness Street and Britannia Junction (Camden Town) will be closed. This is for London Underground works.
